Hi, I've been learning about how to publish my folio as an app for the android market place. I've read that I need to create a APK file. Do I do this in the DPS Viewer Builder or do I do this using aditional software such as the Google Play developer site?
Am I correct to assume that once I've created my APK file in Viewer Builder I then need to register for a Google developer account and certificate. Then I test my app in Google console prior to distributing it?
I just want to distribute the app by email.
Thanks for your help on this one!
the certificate used for APK files is a self-signed one so at this point, no need to use Google Console yet.
See http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/kb/publishing-process- android-amazon-mobile.html (Create a certificate file using Keytool)
Testing is only a matter of installing the APK file on the device where you should be able to test.
The Android developer account will be useful for testing if you have in-app purchases matching 'retail' folios.
