Is this a dead forum??

Sep 12, 2012 7:07 AM

Illustrator tech support  team does take a peek at least to know what kind of issues people are facing around their product?

Please take a minute at: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1064347

    Hi ,

    The people including me might not have replied on the forum thead because either we didn't understood the issue or it might be something which might not be possible.

    I would recommend posting your question on http://forums.adobe.com/community/illustrator/illustrator_sdk or http://forums.adobe.com/community/illustrator/illustrator_scripting

    People out there are more proficient to take your of these problems and might help you.

    Thanks,

    ... because you did not receive an answer in, what, it must have been almost a day now?

    All of these forums are user-to-user. It's rare to get an answer from someone at Adobe; the forums are not a direct line to Tech Support (Manish-Sharma appears to enjoy hanging out here, but without doubt not in any "official" function, but merely as an interested & experienced user).

    @Jongware ,

    You bet .. I  enjoy hanging out here equally as you do.

    @Srini Gundeboina

    I can try and help you out the best I can , but honestly I don't know anything related to Scripting or SDK especially for Illustrator , just started for InDesign , so I will be least bit helpful on this section.

    Seriously speaking Adobe would assign at least few hours of their technical supporting staff’s time on this forum like how Microsoft does, otherwise it will become as useless forum.

    The collective personal experience of thousands of day-to-day users of Illustrator (and Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign and other Adobe products), with hundreds of permutations of hardware and software, appears useless to you?

    Sorry , Srini but I disagree , people like Jongware not only help us but from them we learn here itself.

    Forums in today's time is a great resource just because of there's efforts.

    BTW I am looking for the concern and will update but I think Jongware is a scritping expert and might have something to share.

    Sorry but do not have the answer for this as if now.
