Intel Pentium processors specs

Sep 12, 2012 8:20 AM

The specs call for: Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor. Does anyone know if that means that other Intel processors like:  2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i3 Processor, 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5 Processors, etc. are qualified? i.e. are they faster than the Pentiums -- and/or are they fine for running CS or does it need to actually be a "Pentium" processor? Thanks!

    Those are minimum specs.

    On behalf of Adobe ...

All Intel processors newer than the Pentium 4 processors (including all the Core and Xeon processors) are compatible where Pentium 4 is specified as the minimum requirement.

    OK?

Don’t cheap out. Core i5 with 16 gigs or RAM would be my recommendation with a 64 bit operating system.
