I've been having loads of problems and here's the latest. My design has a horizontal spry nav bar. When you hover over it the drop down aligns to the left of the parent box. When I test it locally it's fine in all browsers. However on my laptop in IE8, it drops down past the right of the parent box. I cannot see where I'm going wrong with this as all looks as it should in the code in my limited experience.
Can anyone tell me how I can correct this problem please? You can visit it on our demo platform: http://www.gbatdemo.co.uk/media_06-12/index.html.
Any heads up will be very welcome (before my blood pressure blows...)
Apart from the reply you have already got, you may like to read this blog as well so that you know how best to prepare for the future:
Since you already have a fixed layout, why don't you try positioning your dropdown element relatively to the parent menu item by giving a pixel value? This should ensure the offset happens in relation with the parent item. It will work on IE as well.
