pdf editing

I recently received a pdf and need to make a few edits to the document before sending to another department. How is this done?

    Depending on your version you would use the text touchup tool or the text edit tool.

    Be aware that you can only do limited editing in a PDF. For example, if you added more than a few characters on a line, there is no way to re-wrap the line.

    You can convert that document into MS-Word format, edit that and than again convert it into PDF. But for that you have to purchase or search for doc to pdf & pdf to doc converter.

    No, you don't. Well, not if you are reading the Acrobat forum because you own Acrobat, which can do both of those things.
