clear the cache

hi

i develop an extension for indesign with CS extension builder 2 et Flashbuilder 4.6, is it possible to clear the cache during the execution of the extension ? because indesign crash after 2 minutes of execution.

    There's probably something wrong with your code.

     

    Did you try profiling your extension?

    in fact, my extension parse the indesign document to retrieve all objects and their property. On small indesign document ( 5 spreads or less) there's no problem, and on big indesign document (beyond of 5 spreads) it crash...

    no i didn't try to profiling my extension...

    Try "profile as..."

     

    You're probably accessing too many collections.

     

    If you post some of your code, we might be able to give pointers on how to improve it.

     

    I'd suggest taking that discussion to the InDesign Scripting Forum.
