Multiple Columns in an Epub CS6

Was curious about this, looked around and see some old articles that say it does not support. What about ID CS6 ?

    Multicolumns does not make sense in EPUB. EPUB needs to adapt to viewers from the size of a computer monitor to the size of a smartphone screen. What does multicolumn display look like on a smartphone? Like crap.
