Fraud?

Sep 14, 2012 7:35 AM

Can we sue you for selling a product that isn't complete without mentioning that at the time of sale?

My opinion in regard to Adobe Systems management is less then stellar. And what's up with this buisness of pawning off support to the community of users, as if you don't generate enough revenue to accomplish support on your own. Perhaps you should start paying the people that provide your support. Geez, no wonder our economy is in such a state, it is being driven there by corporations such as Adobe Systems.

Not only that, "community help" too often consists of an infomercial,  often a lame video that begins and ends with blather about the "expert" and takes 5 minutes to bumble about doing something that it would have taken 5 seconds to figure out if there were any decent text help. Or a cluttered page with a lot of 'mercial and little useful info'.

There is good help, but it's really, really hard to find. Once you manage to get the document up there are good links and good diagrams and screenshots (for once actually decipherable). "Search" (within document) function isn't too thrilling but TOC is good.

It's also possible to download help material -- takes ages-- some in PDF form. Seems it may or may not link directly to the help menu within the programs. And don't ask me how I found where to do that from. A screen just popped up one day (something to do with a routine update--).
