I have an SVG file that has multiple images that I am trying to open in Illustrator.  When I open the file most of the images are there ( I shrink the images down to 3.13%) however there are some images that are being cut off on the side and the bottom and when I try to move all the images up or to the right, I still can't get to the ones at the bottom of the file.  I have tried ctrl A and moved them up using the grid and also used the shift arrow option which only allows me to move them so far then gives me the message that the transformation will move some items completely off the drawing board.  How can I expand the drawing area or remove it to get all the images.

Sorry I can't move them anymore to the left.  It seems I need to be able to just make all the images fit onto the entire screen.  Is there an option to do this?

Have you tried selecting the photos from within the layers panel?

I tried that, it doesn't appear to work as those images aren't on the screen.  Basically what they are are images (cricut catridges) so all the images from a cartridge are in a file.  I would say out of 100 maybe 70 are showing up on the screen.  I need a way to "compress" all the images into one screen.

I need to resize the images.  I have selected them all but now I'm stumped as to how I resize them all.  Any suggestions?

    Double click the Scale tool.

Tried that too and the message I got for that one is "Can't scale the objects.  The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area".  But I appreciate your suggestion.

Okay, here's what I would try.....

Open the file. Zoom out as far as you can. Is everything visible?

If not, select and delete everything you CAN see with the Direct Selection Tool.

Grab the Scale tool and Option/Alt-click once in the center of the artboard. Still get the error?

From the View menu go to Guides>Clear Guides and then try.
