on Windows Vista. Photoshop CS6 crashes at the drop of a hat. My machine has 4 gb Ram but CS6 only sees 1.6k. My Wacom intuos 9 x12 no longer works (have up to date drivers). the features look great, be nice to be able to use them!

Last question: I have up-graded from 7 via 3, & 4. can I remove the older copies ok or do they hold the up-grade codes? Thanks

Older versions can be uninstalled without any effect on current ones. Just make sure to deactivate them. The rest - update your graphics card or turn off OpenGL in the prefs. That RAM thing is normal - you only have 4GB to begin with and your operating system and PS require their share before even beginning to have roiom for work data. The rest may simply be compatibility issues you will have to work out yourself.
