Labels or text fonts and icons in panels and toolbars are too small

Sep 17, 2012 7:12 AM

Absolute newbie here, just got my CS6 and currently studying Dreamweaver. I noticed how small the fonts and icons in the workspace are. I'm not talking about the text in Code View (that I know is easily adjusted in the magnification preference), I'm talking about the font of the labels and icons in panels, toolbars, etc. They are too small and they're straining my eyes. I need help pls.  I'm using a laptop with 1920 x 1080 screen.  Windows 7 64-bit Home Ultimate.  Thanks so much in advance!

Check the DPI level of your display and adjust accordingly.

Have you tried stepping down your screen resolution?

Control Panel > Personalization > Display Settings.

    Restart computer.

    DPI must be normal (100%).

Even though my HD display can support much higher res, I'm using 1280 resolution with no problems in CS6.

    Did you restart your PC?
