Design Standard does not appear in the options

May 14, 2012 10:11 PM

I have downloaded the application manager from the Design Standard downloads on the website, but when it installs and runs, Design Standard is not in the applications available. Only Premium, Master and the individual applications. Where is and how do I download and install the Design Standard suite?

Did you download the Application Manager or the Adobe Download Assistant?  Are you trying to download a trial of Design Standard?  If so you can initiate the download fro the trial from the page discussing Design Standard.

I have exactly the same problem. I download the Adobe Download Assistant. It works fine (I already downloaded Photoshop CS6). But I want to buy the Adobe Design CS6 Standard and the option is not available. Yes, I went to the download page directly but when I click it to download, it just download the Adobe Download Assistant again. The direct download page is not an option for me cause the connection is not very stable and It might fall again and again.

ac250123 you are using the correct workflow to obtain a trial of Adobe Design CS6 standard.  If you open the Adobe Download Assistant, after selecting the download option from the trial page, you will be prompted to sign in and then your download will be completed.

I am having this exact problem. My internet connection is weak and CS6 standard is not showing in the adobe downloader as an option... I have already purchased the software. Why isnt the standard edition appearing in the downloader?

I'm having the same problem.  What you suggest does not work.  I've done it exactly like this and no download.

Design CS6 standard is not an option.  And initiating from the web page: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=design_standard does not cause download to happen autopmatically.  Please provide a real solution.

I'm on new macbook pro using safari.

I'm also having this problem and I've tried a few times. I'm setting up a brand new PC.

    Thanks!

Which web browsers have you tried using?  You may want to try a different browser as your current browser may not be handing off the download link to the Adobe Download Assistant.

Alternately you can follow the directions listed at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html to initiate a direct download of Creative Suite 6 Design Standard.
