I do not see the package feature when clicking on the file menu in illustrator as the instructions above, show.
I know I have the latest version downloaded from the creative cloud (cc).
How or what do I do to retrieve this needed feature?
I had the same problem with no updates found for my Creative Cloud Illustrator installation.
Here's how I was able to finally update it.
Note: I found the new package feature doesn't package linked images that are in opacity masks. Reported it as a bug.
You would be able to upgrade to "16.1.0" only when you have the paid subscription (Trial subscriptions and Perpetual would be able to upgrade "16.0.1"). You could easily verify it by navigating to Help->Deactivate and checking the licensing there.
I couldn't find this thread and the question stands. I have 16.0.1 (NOT 16.1) and no package feature under the file menu. Can anyone answer this. Is it that I have to uninstall and then install again? What a pain.
I am a creative cloud member, and my illustrator is not showing the package feature. I uninstalled, and re-installed as another user suggested, and it still doesnt work. I did updates from within the program and it is showing as version 16.0.4.
Why won't this feature show up?! Can anyone at Adobe help?
