Photoshop not starting

Why doesn't the Photoshop trial start?

I downloaded the 30 days trial and wanted to open CS6. But always the Windows error notice appears, asking me whether to send the report or not.

I deleted CS6 and reinstalled it... without succeeding.

Also the prefs.psp seems to not exist.

How can I solve this problem??

    You're not telling us anything about your system, so this is going nowhere. This could be anything from permissions issues to graphics driver problems. There are nop prefs because it nevert starts, even if that sounds circular...

    Sorry for the unprecise post.

    The system used is a Windows XP Professional S3 with an AMD Sempron 2200+ , 1,5 GHz and 768 MB RAM. The graphic card is a Radeon 7000 AGP with just 64 MB

    The drive i used as the installation directory had enough free space (approx. 20 GB) plus some 70GB of free space on the other drives.

    As you can see  the system is a weak and old one, maybe that is the major problem, right?

    That is totally inadequate by itself.

    That does not begin to meet the minimum system requirements to run Photoshop CS6.
