Indesign CS6 Text Frames not live updating

Hey Guys,

This is probably a function of checking one box.... But since upgrading to indesign CS6 (PC) my text frames don't provide a live view of how the text will sit while I drag and resize them. I have to release the mouse and then the text frames are updated. A simple problem that is costing me hours of time trying to fit text where I want it to sit....

I will be forever in your E-Debt if you can solve my issue. I have tried checking and unchecking just about every preference I could think of.

Thanks

Louis

The default setting in the prefs was changed in CS6 to set Live Screen Drawing to Delayed because Immediate casued no end of problems for users with marginal hardware.

You can change the preference, or just hold the mouse down for a moment before dragging to get the live preview.
