Adobe Community: In overdrive media consol it will not accept my password and id becauce I changed email address

I have changed my id due to changing internet providers and my have changed

my password. I got a new phone today and tried to reinstall ov er drive and

it will not recognize my adobe id and password says I need to use orginal

but that foes not work either. No matter what it will not let me finish

without the id

Ok, I understand that you changed your Adobe ID, but in what way is this connected to Adobe Reader?

Overdrive uses adobe in its program and you have to have the id to download

books in there program used by my library

I still do not understand what you are trying to do; you don't need an Adobe ID to download the free Adobe Reader.

Must have adobe id to use ovedrive I dont know why but they say you must

I took a look at http://www.overdrive.com/files/eBookHowToGuide.pdf. It seems overdrive is built on Adobe Digital Editions, and so does use an Adobe ID.
