Slideshow vector not working?

I select a slideshow MSO with text and in the overlay drop down menu set it to render as vectors. Save the file and update the folio. When I view it on my iPad and zoom in to the text, it still is rasterized. But the text that is not part of the slideshow is razor sharp. I am looking at this on an ipad1. Any ideas why? Also, how do I show the version of the content viewer on the iPad? Thanks!

    I had a similar problem the  other day and when i turned off auto play and  cross fade the text was sharp on ipad three which tells me it was vector. However I have an mso made of two stages with text that did not work. I turned off the mso auto play and deselected cross fade but it had no effect.

     

    Id also like to understand this issue better.

    Have you set your folio format version to v23? The vector feature is only supported in v23 folios and later.

    I updated to v23 but the app in the ipad3 says that there is an updated content viewer that needs to be downloaded. But the app store has no update to download?

    In the folio builder select the parent folio, go to properties and change the v to v23

    The new Adobe Content Viewer has not been approved by Apple, yet.

     

     

     

    If you have a pro or enterprise account you can create your own in about 5 minutes.

    I do. So I guess your saying that I need to generate an ipa and test it that way?

     

    Also if I do this that means I can not share through the publisher or Acrobat.com ...You know to share with clients.

     

    Also I notice that once i change the v22 to v23 in the builder it will not let m revert to v22? is this correct

    That’s not what I said…you can create your own Adobe Content Viewer compatible with Version 23 using DPS App Builder.

     

     

     

    It’s a five minute process. If you have others that need to test, get their UDIDs and create the mobile provisioning file for it.

    You can either create a v23 custom viewer app or a custom version of the Adobe Content Viewer:

    Yes, once you change from v22 to v23 you can't use the Folio Properties dialog box to roll back to a previous version. You'd need to create a new folio.

    Just to be sure...

     

    Once I change to v23 and upoad, I will not be able to see the new vector slideshow/MSO until the new viewer is available for the iPad correct?
