Shockwave plugin

I use IE9 and Google Chrome and I am having the same problem on both with the shockwave player plugin. I will be playing a game and then it freezes and says that the shockwave player plugin has stopped working. Have reinstalled Shockwave player and it still is not working can someone please help me.

What Flash Player version do you have installed?

Note that Shockwave Player and Flash Player are not the same product.

Please clarify: do you mean Shockwave Player, or Shockwave Flash (Flash Player)?

when I am logged into facebook
