I have Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX and Plugin installed, as well as Shockwaver player 11.5.
I have also had Adobe Air on the machine.
I want to know if one of these programs is installing Adobe Reader X without telling me?
I uninstall Reader X, leave my computer running for the weekend, return and it's reinstalled Reader X, all 116mb of it.
This has happened a number of times and it's driving me mad.
Please explain how this happens and what I need to do to stop it reoccurring?
This is NOT being done by any 3rd party or IT support. It can only be coming from Adobe.
So after you uninstall it (from Control Panel, or Claudio's link above), C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader is empty or gone. And after two days the folder and all its contents is back?
The only explanation for this is that someone/something is doing a restore. You can believe me, neither Flash Player, nor Shockwave Player, nor Adobe AIR is doing this.
