I am trying to import a wav file into a video recorded on an external recorder, but once I try and import it, it just crashes.
I have tried it on 2 PCs and a Macbook pro with the same problem.
Is there anything I ashould be aware of when importing Wav files?
An example of one can be downloaded here..

Before one of our tireless MOD's moves the thread out to the appropriate PrPro Forum, is the WAV file LPCM/WAV? Some LPCM, as opposed to PCM, WAV files have caused issues with PrPro.
Good luck,

PS - good thing that Rod did not see this in the Video Lounge, or he would have suggested that you use a PCM/WAV of Godzilla (inside joke). ![]()
Again sorry for posting here, and please feel free to move it to the correct forum.
I may have to contact Adobe as it seems that my recorder the Fostex dcr-302 for DSLR cameras records Broadcast Wave Format which PRPro may not be able to handle, which is weird as everything else has been able to open and play it.

I would be very greatful if someone else could download this wav file and try importing it, just to ensure this is NOT the problem.
I really dont want to start using FCP again which can open it without problems, after starting to learn the Adobe products.
PrPro can import it if I convert it to any other format, (which probably removed the header information) but I would rather not have to do that.
