Is ACR 7.2 available for manual download and update?

Feb 20, 2013 2:26 PM

i just noticed that there is no manual update file for ACR 7.2.

most of our company computers are offline.

how should we update them without a manual update file?

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platfor m=Windows

adobes says the final ACR 7.2 update is available through the CS6 update.
well that is of no help when you have offline computers.

i hope this update will be released as manual update file too?!  any infos?

    Hi hamada2003,

here's the same problem. ACR 7.2 isn't available via standard update mechanism and it seems there's no manual download for this update.

    Did you solve this problem?

    Lucky one!

For me AAM shows no updates and says that everything is up to date...

And also - there's no manual download...

I'm in the same box, but I was 8 hours ago too. I thought Adobe would have resolved this by now!

    Wow! It looks really great!

But don't you have the same for Mac?

    Thanks!

Thank you so much!  I've been trying ever since yesterday morning to get Bridge and CS6 to update.  The programs kept telling me that they were up do date. I tried a chat with someone at Adobe, but they were no help at all.  By using this link you've provided, I was able to install ACR 7.2 in both programs and now they both recognize my D600 RAW files.

Thank you SO MUCH!!!!    I had the beta and when following the online instructions was told by CS6 it was up to date.  I used chat and after 20 mins with Adobe Support, it well try again tomorrow....  I asked for a link, but he didn't appear to know.   I used your link, downloaded setup and it worked the first time.   Thank you again!

Actually, someone else (cppasm) provided the link--I just thanked that person.  Like you, I tried chat with Adobe to no avail.  Was so glad that the link worked.

I was very pleased as it was frustrating.  I kept getting the beta warning and was surprised that there was not a manual download, which is how I usually did it in the past.  I’m sure there are lots of users in the same situation that didn’t know to check the forum.   Thanks

This is the wrong forum, incidentally - it's the Lightroom forum, not the Photoshop forum.

Very helpful thanks.  I picked this up from Victoria Bampton's reply on another thread.  I mentioned in that the fact that the updater also updated some other features -  I saw this because it worked on my MacBook but NOT my iMac - but I do not know what they were.  I think one was related to Bridge.  Is there any way of obtaining these other updates directly?

Any ideas as to what stops the updater from working correctly?
