11/6/2012 - Flash Player 11.5 Release Announcement

Today we're pleased to announce that the next version of Flash Player, 11.5.502.110, is available for immediate download.  This update includes the following new features:

 

  • Bug fixes - Numerous bug fixes for all browsers and platforms!
  • Shared ByteArray support for ActionScript Workers — This feature enables developers to share memory between multiple workers.
  • Debug stack trace in release builds of Flash Player — This feature enables developers to display stack trace info in release and debug builds.

Current Flash Player desktop users that have enrolled in either the "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" or "Notify me to install updates" update mechanisms will receive an update notification within 7 days from today (please note that Windows users will need to restart their system to receive the notification dialog.)

Flash Player 11.5 desktop for Windows and Macintosh: 11.5.502.110

 

Please note that both Flash Player for Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows 8 are updated using a different mechanism.  Flash Player for Google Chrome updates will occur during regular Chrome updates.  Flash Player updates for Internet Explorer on Windows 8 will be provided by Microsoft though the Windows automatic update feature.

 

Flash Player 11.2 desktop for Linux: 11.2.202.251

 

Flash Player 11.1 Mobile for Android 3.x: 11.1.111.24

Flash Player 11.1 Mobile for Android 4.0.x: 11.1.115.27

 

Flash Player 10.3 desktop for Windows, Macintosh and Linux: 10.3.183.43
