My flash player started frequently crashing a while ago, I would really like some help with this problem seeing as whenever it crashes, I have to restart my entire computer and not just my browser. The crashes happen randomly, I could be just getting on and it crashes, or I could have been on for an hour and suddenly it stops working.

I am running Firefox 9.0.1

Windows 7 64 bit

Flash version 11.1 r102

Does this also happen if you disable Hardware Acceleration?

Does this still happen after you update the device drivers for your display adapter?

If it still happens, see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/839/cpsid_83975.html how to report a Flash Player crash.

chibisama,

We'd like to investigate this further.  Please see this FAQ for details on what we'll need and how to properly report crashes:

How do I report a Flash Player crash to Adobe?

Thanks,

Chris

LATEST

I was also facing same issue frequently.

I did update to latest firefox 16.0.2 and Latest flash 11.3

But nothing could help me.

There is problem in flash not firefox.

I just downgrade my flash to 10.3 (installed only plugin - 3MB only not full player)

I follwed article on official mozilla page here http://goo.gl/1gslj

I always want to keep all apps up to date but no choice here/

I will update my flash after a month and will see if the issue is resolved or not in any future release.
