Error when trying to install elements...

I have had considerable issues installing elements on my mac, I finally got the program to download to my computer, but receive several errors when trying to install:

I see a few DW063 errors in your installation summary.  This indicates the installer is facing permission issues and is unable to write to the indicated directories.  You can find details on how to resolve your permission issues at Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html.

In addition you can find information on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.  You will likely need to review the install log in it's entirety to determine the directories which are affected.
