Whenever I try and download the trial of after affects CS6, this comes up:

INSTALLATION FAILED

Your installation encountered errors.

Inconsistency in the installer database. Please restart your computer and try again. The error summary file may help you identify the issue.  If the problem persist, please contact customer support for further assistance.

Please provide a detailed list of your hardware specifications.

You need a 64 bit operating system to install and run After Effects CS6.

Windows XP 32 bit or Windows 7 32 bit will not run After Effects CS6. If you're running either of those, you'll have to upgrade to a 64 bit computer and operating system.

Don't get hung up on the details as the otehrs suggested. Simply provide the install logs and proper system information. Also tell us, what otehr Adobe software is on the system. You may also simply run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and try again.
