I have been struggling with installing PS Elements 11 on a Win 7 64-bit machine for over a day. The Shared Technologies portion of the install is where the process fails. The following is the error from the log file. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Did you try installing after deleting the folder C:\temp\Adobe Photoshop Elements 11\
Also you might want to turn off your antivirus program while installation
If the folder is hidden: follow the post http://forums.adobe.com/message/4849350#4849350 to turn hidden folders visible
I have tried numerous scenarios. That particular folder is where the downloaded software is. I tried installing from the CD, then downloaded a copy and tried that too. You will notice in the error that is can not find Camera Profiles Installer 5.0.65.0 in the media_db database so it knows what to do to upgrade to version 7 of the profiles I believe if I can get this corrected the install will finish properly.
Sorry about not replying earlier. No I am not having the issue any longer.
It took two live chat sessions and a remote session with Adobe tech support to come to the conclusion I needed to figure this out on my own. That was a wasted 6 hours one night...
Anyway, the clue to the solution is in the error message. The install process could not find information on Camera Profiles Installer 5.0.65.0 which is not the version that was installed on my system I believe when Lightroom was upgraded on my system the Camera Raw version was upgraded to 6.67 but was not the correct version for a system with PS Elements installed. I downloaded the latest update of Camera Raw specifically to work with Elements, upgraded the software and re-ran the PS Elements 11 installer. Everything worked...
