Latest Version of Adobe Flash Player

I have downloaded the latest version of Flash Player and every time I go to a web site it just keeps asking me to "Download the Latest Version" to continue?!
So I uninstalled and tried again.... It still is continueing to tell me to do so? What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it?
