I have CS6 on Windows XP. Can anyone help in this? I have downloaded the update directly through the Adobe site and tried updating first through the Application Manager and then directly through the Adobe site by downloading the update directly. Neither works. Also received error U44M1P7 when using the Application Manager.

I already tried installing it from the site directly. Did you read my post? I have tried installing it from the Adobe site as well as through the Application Manager.

yes, i read your message and yes, i know you already followed a portion of the advice in that link.
now you should read all of that page and follow the instructions remaining after a failed direct download and follow the links, as needed. or, if you're too aggrevated to do that contact customer support directly: www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

I found my log but I do not see where any error is listed in it. I contacted the support through chat and they told me to call the 800#. So, I still have not been able to resolve this issue. Still getting the same error message when trying to update the Extension Manager CS6.

I haven't had time to call the 800#. I spent a lot of time using the chat with them last night.
