Problems installing CS4, Adobe help not helping, can't find solution in forums

When I try to install CS4 (on Windows Vista machine), I get the error "Uninstall Color Profiles Rollback Preventing the Installation".  Offered two solutions, I did both, but wouldn't allow me to cut/paste 10 files from the system32/spool/drivers/color folder.  I tried to go into the registry, it said, "some permissions could not be changed".  On the forums, it said some files could be linked to monitor or printers...I don't have a printer installed currently, but what am I supposed to do for a monitor?  I'm guessing they are not allowing me to move them because they are in use, but I don't know how to "unuse" them without not using the monitor.  I tried safe mode, didn't work...any suggestions?

Ok, when I try to change the permissions in the registry, it says that some child permissions were not accepted.  Then it still will not let me delete those certain files that need to be deleted/moved.  When I tried to reboot the computer and install, it gave me the same error message.  When I tried to change permissions in safe mode, I get the same error message.
