Hi,

I have already installed and have been working with various adobe apps from CS6. In design included, my images/vectors started to look bitmapped even when in pref it was set to high quality. I uninstalled Indesign and then re-installed it, but now it keeps opening saying "Error 5" contact adobe support, it then closes again.

I have an urgent job that needs to be completed!! Please help asap!

Thanks

Jo

if you're using a mac:  http://www.justanswer.com/mac-computers/5kf4d-hi-just-error-5-message-indesign-anyone.html

if that's no help, attach a screenshot of the error when opening indesign directly.

I have tried the above, but cant find on my system, I've also done a find for them:

Mac OS:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore

Mac OS:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/

I have downloaded all the programme files from Creative Cloud and my mac is 10.8.2 operating system, not sure if that makes a difference?

Thanks

Yay! I worked it out! I unistalled, then I placed the AdobePCD folder on my desktop and then I reinstalled and it now appears to work.

So if anyone else is having problems try that - I saw this advise on another post so tried it and it worked!
