Invalid namespace

Flash Builder 4.7

The following line in the -app.xml file generates an invalid namespace error although AIRSDK 3.6 appearsas installed in the prefs dialog.

I'm seeing the same thing.

I think one of the descriptor XMLs is out of date.

Not sure which but, for example, the 3.6 archive only has up to 3.5 in airsdk.xml:

        <versionMap>

                              <descriptorNamespace>http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.5</descriptorNamespace>

                              <swfVersion>18</swfVersion>

                    </versionMap>

It is probably just a case of duplicating that with 3.6 but I don't know the swfVersion

Ah... Scrub that, I've just done a fresh download and restart from the beginning. Now the airsdk.html appears correct.

Still not working…

Rid of the previous error but now obtain the following :

Processus terminé de manière inattendue.

invalid application descriptor: Unknown namespace: http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.6

In the prefs window, AIRSDK 3.6 appears as installed, but in the –app.xml file only “xmlns=http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.6” is accepted.

I’ve tried both methods to install the zip file : 1 - Merge and 2 - delete previous content before unzipping.

Any ideas ?

I'm not sure whether or not it has had any effect whatsoever, but (now you have the correct SDK) I know that I replaced the compiler as per http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder.html [Hint: By "Optional" for backup, they mean "Compulsory unless you want to cry in anguish". ]

It could be that there is a mismatch there that might have caused your "Processus terminé de manière inattendue." error.
