What is the exact message? What documents? What version of Acrobat/ Reader? What operating system? You need to be a lot more specific.

I'm getting the same issue.  message is:   Explanation Point in a YELLOW triangle

ENU   adobe PDF document

That's it...   been going on for about 2-3 days when viewing PDFs thru Firefox  19.0.2

Any ideas would be gratefully accepted...

that doesn't sound like an error message generated by an adobe product.  attach a screenshot of the error message.

Are you using the Adobe Reader plugin, or the Firefox 19 PDF.js PDF viewer?  See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1158136
