RH 9 Search is displaying alphabet and all words instead of text box

Good morning,

Not sure what's going on here, obviously, but when I generate my Web Help files in RH 9, preview, and click the Search tab, I see the alphabet listed (instead of the search text box). When I click a letter, it shows ALL the words that begin with that letter in my help files.

I've used the search feature in this version in the past (on these same htm files, as a matter of fact) and not had this problem before.

So, I need the typeable text box, not the alphabet!

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Tom

this just showed up in a recent post - check your SSL recipe for the DHTML/Pure HTML setting - that has something to do with it

Okay, I think I've got it. Noticed at the bottom of the IE screen that opens when I run my first htm file to launch the help, that I get the infamous  " Internet Explorer restricted this webpage from running scripts or Active X controls." When I click the Allow blocked content button, voila, I get my text dialog box and search works.

Just thought I'd leave the question/answer in case anyone else needed it.
