The PC came with Photoshop Elements 11 pre-installed. I tried to install Photoshop CS3, then I got the error. From other posts, it looks like the recommendation is to uninstall Photoshop Elements first. Problem is, I don't have a disk to reinstall Elements since it was factory installed, and I want to have both. Any ideas?
if you have a valid serial number for pse 11, you can download the trial and activate with your serial number.

After uninstalling PSE 11 and deleting all the Adobe directories (including hidden ones), I was then able to install CS3. After a 20 minute chat with HP, I am supposed to get a call back within 48 hours to see if they will give me a serial number to reinstall PSE 11. I paid over $3000 for a high-end PC to use for photo editing, I certainly hope they would let me reinstall the software that they included with the original build (no disk or serial number included with original shipment).
