I found a thread on this and went to this site...

http://blogs.adobe.com/techcomm/2011/07/create-a-book-packager-using-extendscript.html

But....I am still unsure on how to use it. I see I have extenscript in our CS5 suite. But I don't see an archive script.

Thanks for the help!

The script can be downloaded from the page you listed. Click on the text

"script attached" in the Code Snippets section. The link is not very

obvious. Or here is a direct link:

http://blogs.adobe.com/techcomm/files/2011/07/Archive-v2.zip

Then follow the instructions also on that page:

==

Usage**

  • Open the book or document you want to archive.

  • Choose File-> Script-> Run and select the script Archive.jsx. This

will create a new menu item Archive.

  • Choose the menu command:

File > Utilities > Archive Book (if a book file is active)

or

File > Utilities > Archive Document (if a document file is active)

==

Note that running the script doesn't archive the book (or document).

Rather, it sets up a menu item that will create the archive when

clicked. So you run the script once, then use the menu item from then on.

I would like to automate the process of copying all file depencies of a book from different folders into the book folder. Thanks!
