All;
I'm still working with Adobe; however, I may have a unique problem as
explained by Adobe Support: I purchased what is known
as a one user License of a Volume License from a supplier for a CS6
Upgrade from CS5. I had purchased the CS5 direct from Adobe and this is
considered to be a Retail version and not a Volume Licensed product. Adobe
says that you need to upgrade from a licensed version to a licensed
version. They provided me with a link and instructions to upgrade from my
retail version; however, so far it is not installing with the serial number
that was provided. I will contact Adobe next Tuesday after the holiday and
see if the problem can be resolved.
I don't know if this helps you or not. I will try to give you updates.
Regards;
Bob J.

Excellent thank you for the updates Robert. We have been making improvements to the Adobe Application Manager to help make the downloading experience more reliable. In your circumstances it appears these improvements allowed you to obtain the install files successfully.

Jeff;
Thanks for the followup.
It was recommended that the CS6 downloaded files be backed up. Do you know
if these should be the uninstalled files and including the Adobe
Application Manager that I have already installed? Also, I inadvertently
downloaded a MAC version that I don't need since I only have a Windows OS.
I have deleted the files from my computer, but they still are listed in my
Adobe account. How can I delete them from my Account?
How many copies can I download with my One User License (I have a desktop
and a Laptop)? If I'm allowed at least two copies do I assume I return to
the download site and download them to my other computer?
Warmest regards;
Bob J.

Do I have to access the CS6 upgrade via the Cloud. I didn't think the Cloud would be in effect until the middle of next month. I don't want to suscribe to the cloud and thought by purc
hasing the upgrade now I could avoid the Cloud.
Please advise.
