A sudden dream moment … wouldn't it be great if, when referencing an .eps graphic in FM, we could turn its layers on and off. At the moment, I try to keep a base drawing and its variants as an .ai file with thoughtful use of (named) layers: but then I have to save each view as a separate .eps, so if something basic like a logo changes there's a small but significant amount of extra work to do. Yup, I've been informally advised there's a logo-change ahead

Was it a dream, or were you perusing the InDesign product pages

AI and PSD layers are visible via ID, and it's a REALLY COOL feature!

... or tell FM to use the full res image, and not the preview,

(particularly when there is no preview or thumbnail)

and honor any transparency when doing so ...

All over there, along with color management, in the probably not-gonna-happen bin.
