Error U44M1P7 when install 13.0.1.2 update for Photoshop CS6

I tried installing from Application manager, within PS6 and as seperate download but all fail.

Saw troubleshooting ideas from

The first step is to go here - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-updates-ccm.html

If the manual install fails or is not available, then it'll show you how to get into the log files.  Copy any errors and that will help us figure out what's wrong.

you're trying to install the 13.1.2 update?

if so, uninstall ps, reinstall using adobe application manager but, close the manager after downloading and installing.

open ps and click help>updates and select 13.1.2.  do not update to 13.0.1.2 first.

I've looked for a PS uninstaller but not found. I've got Revo Uninstaller but I get messages indicating unisnstall might affect other Adove apps (shared files?)

What is best way to uninstall?

click your start button>in the search field, type uninstall>under control panel, click uninstall a program>find adobe photoshop cs6 and click it.

The normal Windows uninstall totally slipped my mind. doh. I've used Revo for so long I sometimes forget the basics. Uninstall went fine but PS still wouldn't update. I ran some disk utilities which found all kinds of errors and fixed. Still couldn't update until I ran the Adobe cleaner utility then reinstalled and updated with no problems. I'm backing up everything in preparation for doing a complete Windows reinstall just to be safe. It was getting about time anyway.
