Can't download updates on Creative Cloud

I suddenly can't download any updates, etc.  I keep getting this error message:

The address wasn't understood

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (aam) isn't associated with any program.

You might need to install other software to open this address.

I've never had this problem before. What gives?

Well, is the application manager/ Creative Cloud app on your system actualyl installed properly? also, if you use browser plug-ins that suppress scripts and "dangerous" URLs, you may need to turn them off in FF or create an exception rule for Adobe stuff...

According to your last email...you said...

"...you may need to turn them off in FF or create an exception rule for

Adobe stuff..."

I wouldn't begin to know how to do that. I'm too computer illiterate. Like

I said, I've never had this problem before. Everything I had downloaded

from Creative Cloud before, never gave me trouble.

So, how do I do this?

Robert please try downloading the Creative Cloud application from https://creative.adobe.com/.  Once installed you will then need to restart your web browser to load the plug in if you want to install from the web page.  Otherwise you can launch the Creative Cloud application and choose which software you wish to download and install.  You can find more details at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1234831.

My operating system is Windows 7. But as I mentioned before, I never had

this problem till now. I've downloaded from Creative Cloud many time...till

recently. So I don't know what's caused this in the first place.

Thanks,

Robert Christie
