CS6 is a perpetual version of the software. Creative cloud is subscription based.

Thank you for the info...

but there is 6 or 7 months that I´m running CS6 with the Creative Cloud souscription system and today I have received an actualization and all my adobe pics are disapered...

I see in the new Adobe Application manager that all is changed and they are a lot of others CC apps.... Must i stay the Cs6 actualized or reinstall the CC version...

I´m a designer and printer not an informatic specialist...

I think the best is to phone directly to the Hotline of Adobe and asking more details about what it´s the best to choose...

anyway thank you for your reply

Hi guys,

I have been using CS6 before - it did not automatically upgrade itself into CC.

However, if I go to "change abo" I can choose to use CC and it is supposed to be 8 euros cheaper (monthly subscription) than CS6 used to be.

So this confuses me. With is the abo for the new version cheaper than for the old one? o.O

What's new in Photoshop CC.

And, of course, the biggest difference is what the previous poster indicated: CS6 is a perpetual license while is CC is "pay forever" subscription.
