I just purchased Lightroom 5 and in my efforts to download I received a message indicating I need Windows 7 or newer. I have Vista. What do I have to do now and why is this requirement listed in the material requirements?

I never saw this on the website and if it is listed somewhere it sure is not easy to find. At least where the product is listed I could not find it.

Correct.
You must either upgrade to OSX 10.7 or 10.8 or get a new computer.

Yes I've just been caught too. Paid for and downloaded the upgrade from 4 to 5 only to find the pop up message half way through installing. No mention during purchase process. Strange thing is that I installed and used the beta version last April and had no problem with it. Very anoyed they no longer support Vista which I am quite happy with. Do I really have to buy Windows 7 or even a new computer to run LR5? Can we persuade Adobe to un-block it for Vista even if they don't support it as it clearly works fine (on the beta version)?
