Google Chrome has its own Flash Player plugin built in, but the Shockwave message comes from the Shockwave (not Flash) plugin. I've found with Win7 that a complete uninstall and reinstall of BOTH the Flash Player and Shockwave plugins (using the control panel to uninstall - the reinstall using  the Shockwave FULL Installer and either the Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)  or  Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

) usually resolves it.
