What's happening with this? I'm also a Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.8) user hoping to use Lightroom 4.4 as part of my Creative Cloud subscription. From posts elsewhere it looks like Lightroom 4.4 was available from the CC download center for a while, but now the option isn't there.
As suggsted at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/lightroom-4-no-longer-available.html I installed the trial version and then contacted technical support when it expired. Their advice:
"In order to get it fix, either you need to re install the complete Operating System and install it again or purchase Lightroom 5."
(case number 0184801831)
Needless to say, this is not a viable solution.

Jeff, thanks for your reply but as I said I have already followed the instructions there. My Lightroom 4 has expired and it is now asking for a serial number. Please advise.

TomQhra11 my apologies you did reference the correct documentation. I have submitted a request for a member of our support team to contact you directly so that you can license Lightroom 4.
