PS to PDF Conversion

Currently I am using ghost SCript to convert my PS files to PDF that are over 100000 in numbers. It seems that GS takes considerabely more time to perform the output.

is there any nice program that can do so. Speed is my Prime issue

But not on a server! For a server you need LiveCycle PDF Generator.

For speed turn off the "optimize for fast web view" option.

I also found a good tool from coolutils to convert PS to PDF. Its very very fast also as compared to other product.

But the problem is When i am converting PS to PDF using that tool, Header Data "BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED" on on page2 and page3 is lost. Seems that the Output is not on A-4 size.

I tried other PS also with the same tool, but they are working fine and PDF output is right.

I think that some command in my PS to be defined that it is an A-4 size is missing, but I could not understand that. can you please have a look at my PS and tell me what is missing that is not making my complete PDF output in A-4 or why header is cropped in page-2 and 3 on conversion while for other PS to PDF it is not so.

I haven't looked at the file but try adding

a4

on a line by itself after the first line. Might work.

Add the page size e.g.:

<< /PageSize [595 842] /Duplex false /Tumble false /ManualFeed false /MediaPosition 0>> setpagedevice

Note, you do not need the setpagedevice before each page but just before page 1 and then if your page parameters change like if you wanted to switch to Duplex true on page 3.
