I have coldfusion enterprise installed with version 9,0,0,251028.

May I know how to update to the latest version incorporating all the security fixes, and the latest version number to which it will be upgraded to?

Thanks,

arun

Hi arun,

You could update to CF 9.0.1 + CHF4 + security patch.

9.0.1 update EXE from here:

http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads_updates.html#cf9

Cumulative Hotfix 4 from here:

http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/hot-fixes-coldfusion-9.html#ColdFusion 9.0.1 hot fixes

Security patch APSB13-13 and 27 from here:

http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-security-hotfix-apsb13-13.html

and

http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-security-hotfix-apsb13-27.html (note use 9.0.1 section 2)

Once CHF4 is applied Java 7 is supported so you might like to use that rather than EOL Java 6 as likely is current.

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html

A CF 9.0.1 system information says:

Version  9,0,1,274733
Update Level  /E:/ColdFusion9/lib/updates/hf901-00011.jar

CF 9.0.2 (latest build CF9) would be an uninstall and re-install using 9.0.2 installer.

HTH, Carl.

Hi, Following the instructions above, in this link -

http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/hot-fixes-coldfusion-9.html#ColdF usion 9.0.1 hot fixes

It says:

7. Go to {CFIDE-HOME} and take a backup of CFIDE folder.

8. Extract all the files in CFIDE-901.zip to merge in the web root directory that has {CFIDE-HOME} folder.

Question is, where do I find the {CFIDE-HOME} folder? It is not present in my installation of CF9.0.0; I checked under -

{coldfusion-home} and {coldfusion-home}\wwwroot\

It does not seem to be present.

In CFADMIN (http://domain/cfide/administrator) > Server Settings > Mappings

What value do you have for "Logical Path /CFIDE" Directory Path?  EG  C:\inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE

HTH again, Carl.
