I think it will be good if the check for updates button led to the beta lab website instead of the stable release site.That is, for the beta version users.

Thanks for the note.  I submitted this feature request a few months ago, but it's pretty low on the priority list.  We have a huge backlog of things we'd like to do, and the preference is to focus on features for the release version. 

If you choose Always Allow Updates from Adobe, you will get the latest betas as they become available, or subscribe the the announcements from this forum.  We post an announcement within an hour or two of when it goes live.
