Here is a juicy question for someone out there
I have 7 different drag sources that can be placed in any sequence in the 7 drop targets.
Meaning that there a 7 different answers for each question with different combinations.
How do I set up the interaction where regardless of the sequence all combinations are correct?
How do I pull this off in the drag and drop interaction?

The sequence is never a factor in the drag and drop interaction. Users can place the source in the target in any sequence.
I guess your challenge here is that all 7 sources for each target should be considered as correct. Is that right?

Ok, in that case, there will be no failure scenario at all.
Here is one way of achieving it. (This is the only way I know, but other experts may have better ideas.)
Create the standard D&D interaction using the wizard by giving any combination.
In the D&D properties panel, click Correct Answer in the Interaction Properties accordion.
Here, the combination that you gave while creating the interaction appears by default as Answer 1. Modify that to:
Answer 1:
Drop Target | Drag Source
Target 1 | Source 1
Target 1 | Source 2
Target 1 | Source 3
Target 1 | Source 4
Target 1 | Source 5
Target 1 | Source 6
Target 1 | Source 7
Click Add New Answer and create similar answer set for each target.
Click OK and test it.
