How do I make variables maintain their value, also after the application is re-started?

Hi,

I am using variables in my Captivate 7 project, to display a progress bar and what the user covered/not covered. I would like these variables to maintain these values also after the user has re-started the swf file.

The swf file is meant to run on a stand-alone system and is not part of an LMS. I am also not using quizes.

Any ideas?

Your best option is to use the Save and Load Data widgets from CpGuru.  (Google it)
