My desktop app is not working, so I can't update 4 apps or tell which ones to update.

My desktop app says 4 apps need updating, but the desktop app is not functioning.  I can open it but not even get the "apps" window to be live.  Worked fine the other day to update PS CC. .  The only thing I've done since is to update LR 5, which I own--not CC.  But that didn't use the Cloud desktop, anyway.    I see that in my system tray there's a red warning triangle attached--but I don't know what the problem is.  Thanks for help.

I have similar problems, but only in windows, in the mac everything seems to be OK

My seesion was closed (not by me)  and I can not login again to open a new session (in the desktop app)

Just upgraded Lighroom and updated other programs as suggested by the desktop app.

The poblem started 2 hours ago.

Thanks, John, but CC is installed on one computer only, where it has been

since the beginning--never even been moved. If it has somehow been

deactivated, it wasn't done by me. I get no error message, only a notice

that 4 apps need updating.

I was asked to sign in before updating LR 5, but, again, that's not one of

my CC apps and shouldn't affect the Cloud--at least, it never has in the

past.

I have opened my CC files, which required me to sign in (as if often

does). That has removed the red warning triangle, but the desktop app

still doesn't respond.

I'm going to restart the computer to see if that makes any difference.

I've restarted, and that seems to have done the trick, though I haven't

tried to actually update anything.. My opinion is that, with all the new

updates, the Cloud is just too busy. It took several minutes of "wait" to

open up, and then several more minutes to open the app list. With luck,

tomorrow will be better.

Thanks for your suggestion.
