Mac OSx User, Version 10.9.2, Safari internet.  When attempting to upload Flash Player, it prompts me to close all Safari windows.  After doing that, it prompts me to close the windows again.  This usually goes on for a few more times until, at about 50% progress, it completely fails to download, then prompts me to go back to the Adobe download page and try again.  I have attempted this download several times, even closing out Safari before it prompts me to do so, with the same results.

Any advice?

How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X

Note:  Use the NEW Flash Player installer: Flash Player 13.0.0.201 Plug-in (Mac OS X) and not the one linked to in that FAQ page.
